Joy

喜び (yorokobi)

The Japanese word 喜び also means "Delight" and "Pleasure" and is commonly written with the hiragana bi as in 喜び (read yorokobi). It may also be written with just kanji as (read yorokobi) and finally in hiragana alone as よろこび. Despite the different look, the meaning for all three is exactly the same.

Joy (yorokobi) is also used to translate the meaning of the name Joy.
