勇 (yuu)
The Japanese word yuu is a single kanji %97E (read yuu) and translates as "valor; bravery; courage; heroism". Valor (yuu) is an important component of Bushido (bushidou), the Samurai Code of Chivalry, and is one of the Seven Virtues of Bushido.
